Account Information: Names, email addresses, and passwords for teachers and parents.
School Details: School name and teacher identification.
Student Profiles: Student names (provided by authorized adults) to track reading logs.
Reading Activity: Book titles, dates read, and encouraging comments from parents or teachers.

2. Infrastructure & Data Residency

We believe in keeping data close to home. Our technical infrastructure is strictly UK-based:

Application Servers: Hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the UK (London Region).
Database: Securely hosted on DigitalOcean in the United Kingdom.

3. Data Processing Partners

We work with Family Timeline Ltd as our primary data processing partner. They assist with the technical maintenance and delivery of the Miro Reading service under strict confidentiality and security agreements.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to provide the Miro Reading service, specifically to:

Enable the logging of home reading.
Generate motivational reading "streaks" and milestones for students.
Allow communication regarding reading progress between teachers and parents.

5. Children's Privacy

Miro Reading is a tool for parents and teachers. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. All student profiles are created and managed by authorized adults (parents or school staff).

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. You may also object to processing or request data portability.
